Doha: Birla Public School celebrated Qatar National Day with great warmth and joy in the presence of management, staff, and students.
The parade started with a solemn salute by C V Rappai, Director; Maria Thomas, Proxy Director; A P Sharma, Principal; and others senior officials.
Wishing the gathering and the state of Qatar ‘happy national day’, C V Rappai, Director, mentioned in gratitude to Qatar, ‘We are privileged to live in this beautiful country as we consider this as our mother land and are grateful to the citizens and H H the Amir. I do not think that there is any other place in the world where expatriate people can lead their life in such international standards. We feel very safe and comfortable to live, to work, and to study in this very hospitable country thanks to the benevolent rulers the open heartedly great people of this.”
To express the solidarity of Qatar, grant events were conducted in all 3 campuses of BPS. A thematic parade with the more than 500 students was organized to showcase the culture of Qatar and India. A procession with students dressed in traditional Arabic as well as Indian costumes was held to mark the Qatar National Day celebration. A cultural fiesta captivated the audience of grade IV- XII and feted the audience for an hour.
