Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani attended a forum titled ‘promoting moral values among children and youths’ yesterday.
The forum, organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), aims to raise public awareness of mental health issues and behavioural challenges among school children and youths, the role of educational institutions and families to deal with these challenges and enhancing good behaviours among youngsters.
The Prime Minister attended a panel titled ‘issues and challenges of parenting in Qatari society’, which discussed the most common behavioural challenges among children and young people, their reasons and solutions.

The Premier also witnessed a visual presentation on the students’ opinions on negative behaviours affecting the youths.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior toured a gallery accompanying the forum featuring school students’ paintings on FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The forum was attended by a number of Their Excellencies Ministers, directors of educational directorates and members and guests of the forum.
