QU college wins accreditation for its programmes

DOHA: Qatar University College of Education (QU-CED) has been awarded a five-year accreditation for its academic programmes by the accreditation organisation NCATE/CAEP, making it the first national college outside the US to gain the achievement.
Dr Mazen Hasna, Vice-President, QU, and Chief Academic Officer said, “The significant achievement reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance its programmes and outcomes. It underlines the college’s core role in advancing the education sector in Qatar and the region.”
Dr Hissa Sadiq, Dean of the college, said, “The achievement highlights the high-quality programmes the college offers to its students and its position as a key partner in contributing to the development of the education sector in Qatar.”
Dr Yehya Al Nakeeb, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the college, said, “The accreditation is a testament to the college’s commitment to provide quality programmes and prepare competent and highly skilled graduates for the labour market.”
