Bollywood actor Aamir Khan announced his farewell from social media - Twitter and Instagram. The announcement came the day after he celebrated his 56th birthday.
Khan posted a note for his fans saying, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before."
“In addition, AKP (Aamir Khan Productions) has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Here's the official handle! @akppl_official. Lots of love, always a," he said.
He added that he would interact with his fans through media and all his latest film updates will be announced by his production house.
Khan was lately featured in a dance song with Elli AvrRam, the Swedish Greek actor, from the film ‘Koi Jaane Na'
Aamir Khan's upcoming film will be Laal Singh Chaddha which will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan and is slated to release this year.
