Registration for Qatar’s largest free medical camp, being jointly organised by Indian Islamic Association (IIA), and Indian Medical Association (IMA) Qatar chapter, in partnership with the Supreme Council of Health and Hamad Medical Corporation has started, the organisers said yesterday.
The 12th annual camp, which is being held for low-income expatriates from Asian countries, will take place at the Tariq Bin Ziyad Independent Boys School at Salata Jadeed on April 12 from 7am to 7pm.
IIA president Abdul Rahman Ahmad and IMA Qatar chapter president Dr K P Najeeb jointly inaugurated the camp office at the IIA headquarters at Mansoura.
IIA volunteers will be visiting labour camps across Qatar to find people who draw below QR2,000 as salary and need medical assistance.
Eligible persons can register for the free camp at the camp office in the evenings. Ooredoo is the chief sponsor of the event. For more details, contact 44435464.
