Around a thousand kids participated in the ‘My Kid’ painting and colouring competition organised by Avatar Gold and Diamonds as part of the inauguration of their first showroom in Qatar. The winners of the contest were announced yesterday. A jury of three well-known artists from Qatar selected the winners.
Following are the winners who came first and second in four categories. Senior: Deepak Sajikumar (MES Indian School), Amal Zen (Ideal Indian School). Junior: Hana Abullaise (Ideal Indian School), Sheaba Hameed (MES Indian School ). Sub Junior: Nidhi Noronha (DPS-MIS), Vismaya Vasudevan (Birla Public School). Kids: Haya Hameed (MES Indian School), Bhagath Krishnan (Birla Public School). The prizes will be presented to the winners on March 26 in a function at the Avatar Gold and Diamond showroom, which is located in Al Watan mall, next to New World Centre Doha.
