SKIA, an expatriate association from the southern Indian state of Kerala will organise a cancer awareness programme on Friday. Renowned cancer specialist Dr Tomas Varghese (pictured) will attend the function which will be held at the Asoka Hall of Indian Culture Centre (ICC) at 6pm. The construction of the second phase of SKIA’s humanitarian project Abhaya in Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram will be launched during the event by its chairman N M Ansari.
