DOHA: Bangladesh M.H.M School and College won the U-14 Boy’s School tournament by defeating Ideal Indian School by 7 wickets in the final match.
Jaberul of Bangladesh School was named Man-of-the-Match with four wickets.
Bangladesh School defeated Birla Public School in the first semi-final match, whereas Ideal Indian School defeated Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) in the second semi-final match
Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) conducted an Under-14 School cricket tournament which started on October 20 and ended earlier this month.
A total of 10 school teams participated who were divided into two groups.
The winner’s trophy was presented by Manzoor Ahmad, General Secretary of QCA to the Bangladesh School Captain.
Other QCA officials were also present in the ceremony.
The teams participated were: (Group A) Pak Shamaa School and College, the Cambridge School, Birla Public School, Doha Modern Indian School - DMIS, Pakistan Education Centre.
(Group B): MES Indian School, Dukhan English Speaking School, Ideal Indian School, Bangladesh M.H.M. School and College, and DPS Modern Indian School.
