Doha: The second phase of the “We are all responsible” initiative was launched on Saturday from Qanbar Al Ansari Mosque in the Al Wakrah area. The initiative aims to enhance community participation for young people and decorate the country’s regions.
H E Yousef bin Ali bin Yousef Al Khater, a member of the Shura Council, said that the “We are all responsible” initiative has significant importance especially with the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
On the occasion of launching the “We are all responsible” initiative, Hamad Al Athba, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the initiative, explained that the three-day initiative will include cleaning, landscaping, murals, and street decoration with the participation of youth.
This initiative comes under the patronage of Minister of Sports and Youth H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Public Works Authority, the Leadership Centre for Girls, the Al Wakrah Girls Centre, the Friends of the Environment Centre, and Sumaysimah and Al Daayen Youth Centre.
