DOHA: Qatar Leadership Center (QLC) recently concluded a four-day training programme for school directors with the aim of improving students’ performances and achievements.
The second phase of the three level programme being implemented by QLC in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education included 25 school directors from different school levels.
The first day of the course discussed the “role of school director in leading towards change in students’ performances”, on the second and third day, “the role of school director in developing the school’s performances”, and the last day discussed “role of school director in investing the school facilities to develop the school and its performances”.
The ministry said in a statement yesterday that the third phase of the training programme will start on October 23, and continue for four days at the QLC headquarters.
