Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft cooperation agreement in the field of education and higher education, research and technology between Qatar and Kenya, signed in Nairobi on 11/4/2017.
The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification endorsing a draft cooperation agreement in the cultural field between Qatar and Kenya, signed in Nairobi on 11/4/2017.
The Emir also endorsed Cabinet Decision No. (37) of 2017 on the implementation of the provisions of Law No. (24) of 2002 regarding retirement and pensions for Qatari employees in Al Mafjar Import and Export Co.
The decision shall be implemented and come into force from the date of issuance and to be published in the Official Gazette.
The Emir issued Law No. (13) of 2017 amending some provisions of the Labour Law promulgated by Law No. (14) of 2004 and Law No. (13) of 1990, by issuing the Civil and Commercial Procedures Law.
The law is to go into effect and to be published in the official gazette.
Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. (61) of 2017 ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the financial affairs between the Ministry of Finance in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Finance in Turkmenistan signed in Ashgabat on 7/3/2016, which text is annexed to this law.
The MoU shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No. (62) of 2017 ratifying an agreement on the encouragement and protection of mutual investments between the Qatar and the Republic of Serbia signed in Doha on 7/11/2016, which text is annexed to this law. The agreement shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Decrees shall be implemented and go into force from the date of issuance and are to published in the Official Gazette.
