Doha: Birla Public School (BPS), a staunch supporter of social enterprises, became for yet another time the venue for a book fair from May 25 to 27, 2019, organised by Abu Karbal Bookshop, in the Basement Hall of the main campus.
All genres of books were on show and it elicited a good amount of attention from students, parents and the expatriate community of Doha. A considerable stock of variety of books related to classroom decorative and educational resources were appreciated by all.
Major collections of literature and storybooks based on age groups, general knowledge books, educational toys and library collection were available for easy choosing.
All the students from class V to XII visited and purchased their favourite books during the three-day event.
The exhibitors reported happily that they were able to sell good books at a very fair price and thus the fair was a satisfying success. The school will continue to support such endeavours in the future.
