Doha: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs H E Dr. Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari honoured Qatari students participating in international competitions on the Holy Quran and outstanding students for memorising the Holy Quran at Holy Quran and Sciences Centres affiliated to the Ministry.
The honourees included 10 Holy Quran memorisers who have achieved advanced positions in international competitions and about 25 Qatari students who completed memorising parts of the Holy Quran during the last year and 50 Qatari and expatriate students who have completed memorising the whole Holy Quran.
