Doha, Qatar: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose marginally at the start of Sunday's trading by 0.02 %, gaining 2.11 points to reach 10,495 points, compared to the close of the previous session, backed by three sectors.
Figures released by QSE showed positive performance in the Transportation sector, which rose by 0.30%, the Real Estate sector by 0.19%, and the Banking and Financial Services sector by 0.16%, while the Telecom sector remained unchanged at 0.00%.
On the other hand, the Consumer Goods and Services sector declined by 0.11%, the Industrial sector by 0.36% and the Insurance sector by 1.17 %.
As of 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,138 transactions at the value of QR 55.311 million, distributed over 24.963 million shares.
