Planet Tec - the sole distributor of Asia’s Influential Brand Midea, has expanded its distribution and line-up in Qatar. The company currently has a wide portfolio of residential air conditioners, washing machines and refrigerators.
Representatives from Midea and Planet Tec signed on agreement on distribution of kitchen appliance, small appliances, air treatment, fans, vacuum cleaners and gourmet steamers at a reception held on Monday at Crowne Plaza Doha - The Business Park. Midea is the World’s number one major appliances producer with a revenue of $22bn, which is a testament to the growing popularity of its home appliances range and manufacturing capabilities across the globe.
For instance, Midea has 21 manufacturing bases worldwide, serves customers in over 200 countries, employs 105,000 people worldwide. “Midea makes a complete range of home appliance products. We continue to globalise our operations with production bases in Vietnam, Belarus, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, and India, to be followed by additional plants in some other countries. Producing home appliances, we do one thing and one thing only: we focus on creating a “home feeling” with every product our consumers use. We are happy for our collaboration with Planet Tec whose vision is in line with Midea’s strategy to expand its distribution network to offer better services to local consumers in Qatar”, said Elvis Wang, General Manager, Midea Middle East.
During the event, Midea presented a new line-up for the existing product in Qatar such as: Mission Tropical Inverter Air Conditioner, world’s leading inverter technology with unique features were presented in Midea RAC.
