Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has received two new mosques in Hazm Al Markhiya and South Khalifa this month. The mosque in Hazm Al Markhiya can accommodate 735 male and 55 female worshipers. It also accommodation for the imam and a Quran memorisation centre. The mosque in South Khalifa can accommodate 448 worshippers and has accommodations for the imam and the muezzin.
