Safeeran-e-Watan, a Pakistani socio-cultural forum, arranged a welcome reception for the newly arrived Pakistani ambassador, Syed Hassan Raza.
The ambassador lauded the contributions of the Pakistani community to Qatar.
Speaking on educational facilities, he said he felt a need for a technical institute in Doha, specially for those community members who are having difficulty in studies. “It is our responsibility to provide opportunities to this section of society to make them useful and skilled as per the local market’s requirements,” the envoy said.
Earlier, Malik Sarfraz, President, Safeeran-e-Watan welcomed the envoy. The event was attended by members of the Pakistani business community, leading professionals, diplomats and representatives of all sections of society.
