Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received yesterday a phone call from High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy H E Josep Borrell.
At the outset of the call, High Representative sincerely congratulated His Excellency on his appointment as Prime Minister, wishing him continued success in his new post.
During the call, they discussed cooperation aspects between Qatar and the European Union, as well as a number of regional issues, on top of which the situation developments in Palestine and the Iranian nuclear file.
