Visual Arts Forum India (Vafi) held their first met General Body Meeting on Friday at the residence of Dr Mohan Thomas. Vafi is a voluntary cultural association formed in Qatar to nurture, promote and develop artists of Indian origin living in Qatar. A total of 22 Indian artists living and working in Doha turned up for the meeting. Dr Mohan Thomas was selected as the Chief Patron. Eleven executive committee members with Dr Sreekumar Padmanabhan as President, Mahesh Kumar as the Vice President, Patric Rozario as the Secretary and Smita Aloni as Treasurer were selected.
