Doha Modern Indian School’s (DMIS) kindergarten kids celebrated their promotion to the next grade with a graduation ceremony on March 14. It was a day of pride for the tiny tots, also fondly known as Kindergarten Kids of Wonderland, when they took a step ahead to face the challenges that lay ahead of them in the primary school.

Vivek Kumar Chowdhary, ex- Director of Finance, Qatar Foundation, was the chief guest. Also present were Jayashankar Pillai, Director of Schools, David Throp, Principal of The Cambridge School, and Diewthy Chandran, Academic Auditor.

Jai Gopal Jindal, DMIS Principal, delivered the welcome speech followed by children of KG 2. who enthralled the audience with their welcome song.

Masters of Ceremony for the day were Nicole and Ram from KG 2, who did a marvellous job of anchoring the whole programme.

The teachers were beaming with pride on hearing the speeches made by the young students commending their teacher’s hard work and efforts. “When I joined the school I was so shy that I did not speak to anyone. But now, my confidence has reached to such a level that I can speak to any one without fear and this is because of the school and my teacher,” said one of the kids.
