MES Indian School honoured Prof V Madhusudhan Nair, a noted and distinguished Malayalam poet from Kerala, India, who was partly responsible for the renewal and popularity of poetry to the masses through recitation, during an auspicious ceremony held at the KG auditorium of the school recently.

“I am really astonished to witness the growth of Malayalam language outside the country,” exalted the guest of honour while making his keynote address. He also stressed the importance of Malayalam language and its unity in diversity among other languages.

A Shamsuddeen, general secretary and A P Khaleel, director, cultural & co-curricular activities, MES Governing Body, felicitated the poet.

“MES Indian School is honoured to have a distinguished poet like Prof V Madhusudhan Nair,” remarked Principal A P Sasidharan in his welcome address.
