DOHA:Barwa Real Estate Group yesterday announced that it intends to liquidate its four local subsidiaries, based on a decision by its board of directors. Okaz Media W.L.L, Barwa Technology S.P.C, Lucair Real Estate S.P.C and Knowledge Group S.P.C are the subsidiaries that are facing liquidation. These subsidiaries have been dormant and are not generating any revenue, the Group noted in a press note issued yesterday.
Islamic Holding Group profit up
DOHA:Islamic Holding Group recorded a net profit of QR12.12m in Q3, 2014, up 73 percent against QR7m reported during the same period in 2013. The earnings per share rose to QR3.03 from QR1.75 a year ago. The results were disclosed after a meeting of the board of directors chaired by Dr Ahmed Yousef alneamah, Chairman and Managing Director.
Mannai’s profit grows by 30pc
DOHA: Mannai Corporation reported a net profit of QR378m for the nine month period ended September 30, 2014, an increase of 30 percent over the same period last year. The earnings per share also increased by 30 percent to QR8.28 from QR6.36 for the same period in the previous year. Alekh Grewal, Group CEO and Director, said: “Qatar operations have contributed 57 percent of the revenue due to exceptional growth in the infrastructure projects. The Group continues to be well positioned to participate in the economic growth of Qatar”. The Peninsula
