As a part of its community welfare drive, DPS-Modern Indian School, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Centre, hosted a blood donation campaign in its premises on April 10. The day-long campaign was well received by the DPS-MIS staff and 61 members donated blood for the noble cause.
“The institution with its motto ‘service before self’ always believes in giving back to the society in a larger way. We will continue to associate ourselves with such initiatives in the near future,” said Principal Asna Nafees.
Hamad Medical Centre appreciated the initiative and enthusiasm of the DPS-MIS employees and this humanistic approach taught the young minds to be compassionate, empathetic and true human beings.
