At least two people have been wounded in a shooting at a high school in southeast France, according to local authorities.
Schools in the small town of Grasse were placed under lockdown after the incident, Emmanuel Ethis, the regional educational chief, said on Twitter.
Local emergency services advised residents on Twitter to stay home. The Grasse Town Hall said the incident was not "terrorist" related.
At least one person has been arrested, police sources told the Reuters news agency.
