Cityscape Qatar 2017, the leading real estate and investment exhibition in Qatar, wrapped up its sixth edition yesterday.
The premier real estate exhibition saw a 10% increase in the number of visitors with over 8,000 attendees confirmed within the first two days of the exhibition at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Qatar’s profile as a leading investor in global real estate projects has driven a record level of participation of both local and international exhibitors at Cityscape Qatar 2017. Held over the course of 3 days, the show featured over 85 world’s leading real estate companies exhibiting from 25 countries including; Qatar, U.K., Turkey, Pakistan, U.A.E, Italy and Azerbaijan; and witnessed landmark deals and a number of new projects unveiled for the first time.
Qatar’s leading real estate company, Retaj, featured major investment and marketing projects in Qatar at the exhibition including, Retaj Energy Building in Lusail City; Mesaimeer Hotel Apartments; Khadizah two-star hotel properties; luxury residential apartments in Lusail City; and Alwaab hotel in Al Sadd. Furthermore, Retaj displayed three new hotels to open soon in Qatar with Retaj Al Rawda, Retaj Msheireb, and its “jewel”, the Retaj Salwa Resort and Vichy Spa.
International projects were also on display including 5 star hotel apartments at the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE; Retaj Al Nahda Tower, a residential and commercial property in Sharjah, UAE; and Tara residential projects in Khartoum offering apartments, villas and lands for sale.
One of the top real estate companies in Qatar, Ibhar, also launched several international investment projects in UK, UAE, Egypt and Turkey with a guaranteed return on investment, during the event.
“Ibhar Real Estate currently manages 33 properties in Qatar, as well as many international investment properties in UK, Greece, Spain, UAE and Egypt. We believe that any investment decision needs to be made after thorough research to guarantee the safety of the investor and his return on investment; and this is where we excel at providing,” said Dr. Moyasser Saddiq, Chairman, Ibhar for Exhibitions and Conferences.
This year’s event was an increasingly international affair with properties on showcase from Cyprus, Italy, Turkey, US, Qatar, the UAE and the UK. “Our aim is to deliver a high quality show across both the content of our conference as well as the high calibre of our partners and exhibitors, and to ensure we always offer an exhibition that is well attended,” said Ahmed Zakaria, Exhibition Director, speaking on behalf of Cityscape. It is important to offer a diverse range of projects and information on the real estate sector in order to make sure it is appealing to a wide range of people,” Zakaria concluded.
