The Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and PHCC is going to hold for the seventh year in a row the annual routine Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccination campaign for students in the tenth grade.
The campaign will start on Sunday (February 19) and will continue until March 16. The workshop will include several informative presentations on the latest practical and scientific vaccination information. There will also be presentations on the objectives of the campaign and its steps, said a press release. It is important to note that this vaccine covering three communicable diseases provides at least ten years protection from the diseases mentioned. The dose that will be administered to the students is considered one of the routine adolescence vaccinations and is part of the routine vaccination schedule in the State of Qatar.
