To address the issue of speeding, the Ministry of Interior has installed more mobile cameras on some arterial roads in the country.
The mobile radars have been placed at Kharara Road, Wakra-Mesaieed Highway and Shamal Road, the Ministry of Interior announced on its Twitter account.
"Speeding is behind many traffic accidents which lead to many deaths and among other tools which control speeding and reduce the number of deaths are radars which detect speeding violations in addition to development of ambulance services", said Brigadier Mohamed Saad Al Kharji, Director of the Traffic Department, recently at an event.
Two days ago, the Ministry of Interior also installed mobile cameras in areas like Al Khor Coastal Road, Al Wakra Road and Al Rufaa
Street.
