Dr Khalid Alali, Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs, Qatar University
He received his BSc from Temple University, Philadelphia, MS and PhD in Human Genetics from the Florida Institute of Technology in Florida. He established the first Cytogenetic Laboratory at Hamad Hospital. He is currently the President of the World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (Comest) at Unesco, and the Chairperson for QU-IRB and Shafallah Center IRB among others.
