•     There are demands for strict monitoring of eateries and supermarkets, especially those operating in areas where single workers live, to detect substandard and counterfeit products. This follows the disclosure of meat and other products being seized after their expiry dates were changed.
•     The Supreme Education Council has been urged to replace big Karwa buses that carry students with smaller ones to save the students’ time. A bus that picks up and drops 50 students will take more time to complete its trip than a smaller one carrying students of just one area.
•     The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has been requested to install more exercise equipment in public parks in the Corniche and at Aspire Park.
•     There are complaints about broken and open garbage bins in some areas. The bins give off foul smell and cause the spread of insects and rodents. The department concerned at the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has been asked to replace them.
•     There are demands for speed bumps to be set in front of schools, especially primary schools, to reduce the risk of road accidents.
•     It has been proposed that a committee be set up for organising National Sport Day events in future, comprising representatives of ministries and public institutions, and members of the Central Municipal Council, for proper distribution of the events. There are also demands for more programmes for ladies, and for more toilets at the venues.
•     There are complaints about some car dealers not providing proper after-sales service. The authorities must strictly monitor the dealers to ensure proper service to customers. Some of the dealers sell spare parts at high prices and take weeks to fix cars, which forces clients to hire cars in the meanwhile.
