Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Monday, decreasing by 96.99 points, or 0.89 percent, to reach 10,757.96 points.
During the session, a total of 127,143,428 shares were traded, with a value of QR 379,335,319.853, through 27,971 transactions across all sectors.
The session saw the shares of 15 companies rise, and those of 35 companies decline, while three companies maintained their previous closing price.
At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 644,638,026,851.030, compared to QR 648,468,313,653.490 in the previous session.
