The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, will divert a small section of westbound lanes on Al Luqta Street opposite Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) to an adjacent 540 metre road.
The minor road change, which has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, will be implemented from tomorrow and be in operation until December, 2017.
During this perios, road users travelling from Doha to Dukhan on Al Luqta Street will be shifted from the existing carriageway onto an almost parallel route for a short distance of 540 metres before rejoining the existing road, as shown on the attached map.
Ashghal said that there will be no change in the number of road lanes and the speed limit will remain at 50kph.
