Foreign Minister H E Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has met with the permanent delegates of the countries of the Group of Friends of Accountability for the crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Syria.
The Foreign Minister stressed during the meeting on the principle of justice and accountability for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed on a daily basis in Syria.
He also emphasised the necessity of activating the role of the United Nations General Assembly in keeping international peace and security by holding an emergency special session on the situation in Syria.
