AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is currently enrolling a total of 500 students for this academic year. This includes 260 returning students, with a further 240 new students joining the programmes across undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio.

“The number of students represents our largest cohort to date and recognises the demand by the local population for quality British higher education. It has been wonderful to see so many new and returning students on campus this semester. It gives me great pleasure to see that over 70 percent of our current student body is made up of Qatari nationals, which is evidence of our drive and determination in helping to fulfil the capacity building element of the Qatar National Vision 2030,” said Brian Buckley, Principal at AFG College with the University of Aberdeen in a statement.

AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is committed to encouraging greater participation in the education sector and will take part in the University Expo Qatar on October 16 and 17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) to promote its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The University Expo is a two-day exhibition for students aged 16 and above, as well as their parents; school counsellors; principals and career advisors. There will be inspirational talks, seminars, opportunities to discuss education and career choices with local and international universities and higher education institutions. This event will be an experience like no other.

Staff of AFG College will discuss with the Expo guests the benefits of enroling in its undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is a unique partnership between the Al Faleh Group for Educational and Academic Services (AFG) and the University of Aberdeen which opened its doors to undergraduate students in September 2017.

It is currently offering undergraduate programmes in Business Management & Accountancy and Finance, as well as its postgraduate programmes in MBA and Msc International Business Management.

The partnership presents the opportunity for those students living and working in Qatar to access a British degree from one of the leading international universities, currently ranked number 170 in QS world University rankings 2020.
