Doha: On behalf of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani delivered the closing remarks of HH the Amir at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit.
The following is the text of the speech:
In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful
Your Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses,
At the conclusion of our summit, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to you for accepting the invitation and participating actively in this summit in such a short period of time, and for the solidarity and sincere commitment you have shown to supporting the State of Qatar in the wake of the treacherous and cowardly attack it was subjected to.
We also renew our thanks to the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the General Secretariat of the Arab League for their outstanding efforts in preparing for this summit. We pray to Allah Almighty that our collective efforts be crowned with success for the benefit of our nations and peoples.
May peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you.
