Budding stars of Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) celebrated Teachers’ Day recently and expressed their gratitude to their educators. The event was observed to pay a tribute to and recognise the hard work of the teachers. Cultural programmes were staged by the students and teachers were involved in many games. The students’ council assigned duties to students for monitoring and stepping into the shoes of teachers by becoming a teacher for the day. Highlights of the event included fun-filled game shows, speeches, songs and skits organised by the students. The students exhibited a remarkable sense of duty and diligence in acknowledging the hard work of teachers and making them feel special.
