Doha: Qatar’s Islamic Dawah Organisation is building three Islamic complexes in Uganda at a cost of $1.4m donated by Qatari philanthropists.
Hammad Abdul Qader Al Sheikh, Director-General, Islamic Dawah Organisation Office in Qatar, said with these projects, the number of Islamic complexes built by Qatari philanthropists in Uganda will reach 17 under the ‘Construction of Islamic complexes’ project implemented in African countries.
He said the organisation is focusing on construction of such complexes and places of worship with essential services in one place for the benefit of Muslims and others, such as medical and water services. The organisation plans to build more complexes in Uganda and other African countries.
Al Sheikh praised the philanthropists and urged everyone to help the poor in the African and other countries.
