Hong Kong---Hong Kong stocks fell 1.36 percent on Monday morning following losses on Wall Street, while traders were spooked by the collapse of debt reform talks between Greece and its creditors.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 370.23 points to 26,910.31 by the break, on turnover of HK$66.69 billion (US$8.61 billion).
And in Shanghai the benchmark composite index dropped 1.54 percent, or 79.55 points, to 5,086.80.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, declined 1.52 percent, or 47.68 points, to 3,092.98.
