Doha: Within the framework of assuming its social responsibilities and supporting the various needy segments of society constantly, Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation provided fresh support to needy people inside Qatar in February.
The aid provided by the Foundation in February 2023 accounted QR1,968,014 which covered needy families for paying their medical bills, school fees and financial assistance.
This monthly and continuous assistance comes throughout the year, due to the great interest that the Foundation attaches to charitable initiatives and projects within Qatar, which are at the top of its priority.
Considering that the fields of health and education reflect the vision of the Foundation and enhance its community presence, in February witnessed the provision of financial aid aimed at providing treatment for a number of medical conditions.
The beneficiaries included needy expatriates visiting Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) whose health conditions impose financial burdens on them that exceed their capabilities.
Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation seeks to support this group to overcome these conditions and support their desire for a healthy and stable life.
The Foundation also continues its pioneering role, by providing various forms of support to many associations and community institutions working in health affairs and supporting their developmental roles, bringing the value of assistance provided by the Foundation in this context to more than QR91,625.
In terms of supporting the educational system, the Foundation supported many private schools and universities. As the value of support during the month of February amounted to QR1,587,500.
In the context of in-kind and financial assistance, the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation adopts a flexible and effective mechanism that aims to support the largest segment of needy groups inside Qatar, as the value of financial and in-kind assistance provided by the Foundation during February amounted to QR288,889, bringing the number of beneficiaries to 111.
The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Foundation are sustainable due because they are self-financing, and devote in their orientations the principle of social solidarity, through keenness to provide continuous social assistance to needy families to reduce their financial burdens.
