The three-day MENA Youth Capacity Building in Humanitarian Action (MYCHA) training concluded yesterday with a humanitarian response simulation for the youth participants from across the region.
Organised by Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), a programme of Education Above All, the intensive training programme held at Hamad Bin Khalifa University was designed to support the meaningful participation of youth in humanitarian contexts. The training delivered practical learning that can be immediately applied by youth in their home countries. Once the participants return to their home countries, they will continue to receive six months of ongoing support and mentorship by partner NGOs.
