Doha: Alfardan Automobiles, the official importer of BMW Group in Qatar, ensured that speakers and guests attending the 12th Qatar International Businesswomen Forum enjoyed sheer driving pleasure in the fleet of more than 35 chauffeur-driven luxury BMW vehicles.
As part of this year’s event sponsorship, Alfardan Automobiles also showcased the new BMW 5 Series GT.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Economy and Trade H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani and Sheikha Al Anood Bint Khalifah Bin Hamad Al Thani, this year’s edition of Qatar International Businesswomen Forum was held on November 11 and 12 at St Regis Hotel Doha.
The forum attracted a number of leading Qatari, Arab and international speakers, including Aisha Alfardan, Vice Chairman, Qatari Business Women Association.
The main theme of the forum was “Arab Businesswomen as Change-Makers” which discussed issues such as developing and harnessing the leadership potential of businesswomen, values of identity and leadership style, removing barriers that prevent women from exercising leadership in business and social activities, growing and funding entrepreneurship and innovation among women, and profiles of women visionaries.
