DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index added 26.03 points (0.22 percent) when the bourse closed Tuesday at 11,964.45 points.
The market capitalisation increased to QR634.21bn from QR 633.30bn registered Monday.
The trade turnover today dropped to QR133.67m with a volume of 3,082,419 shares from 2,113 transactions compared with QR 192.173m with a volume of 5,203,314 shares from 2,694 transactions on Monday.
Indices of four sectors ended in the green and three in the red today.
QSE Total Return Index gained 0.22 (18,597.02 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 0.18 percent (4,647.98 points) and QSE All Share Index gained 0.15 percent (3,197.49 points).
Investors traded shares of 40 from the 43 QSE-listed companies today. From these shares of 17 gained, 14 declined and nine remained unchanged.
