Doha: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has released Al-Fath Al-Mubeen ‘ala Kitab Noor Al-Yaqeen fi Seerat Sayyid Al-Mursaleen (The Clear Victory: A Commentary on Noor Al-Yaqeen in the Biography of the Master of Messengers), a landmark scholarly work regarded as an important reference for researchers and specialists in leadership, management, education, and Islamic studies.

Published in two volumes with support from the Scientific and Cultural Development Waqf Fund of the General Directorate of Endowments, the book offers a comprehensive and academically rigorous commentary by the renowned scholar, historian and hadith expert Sheikh Muhammad Raghib Al-Tabbakh (d 1370 AH) on the celebrated text Noor Al-Yaqeen fi Seerat Sayyid Al-Mursaleen by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khudari (d 1345AH), one of the most widely studied concise works on the Prophet’s biography.

The publication reflects the ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote Islamic knowledge, preserve scholarly heritage, and make authoritative religious resources accessible to students, researchers and the wider public. The printing of the work was undertaken in fulfilment of the wishes of charitable endowers who stipulated in their waqf deeds support for the publication of beneficial books, alongside the Holy Quran, the Prophetic Sunnah, and the preservation of Islamic heritage.

The book covers the major events of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life, beginning with his lineage, birth and upbringing, and continuing through the stages of his prophetic mission, migration, military campaigns and key milestones that shaped the final divine message.

It also highlights various aspects of the Prophet’s character and practical example, presenting the educational, ethical and spiritual values embedded in his life and teachings.

According to the ministry, the work distinguishes itself through its clear presentation, meticulous documentation and insightful analysis. The author explains unfamiliar terms, expands on important themes and provides additional scholarly notes and clarifications that help readers understand the historical context and deeper objectives of the Prophetic biography. The commentary also draws attention to lessons in leadership, education, perseverance, resilience and calling others to faith.

The ministry described the publication as a valuable resource for academics and postgraduate students, particularly those engaged in research related to Islamic history, leadership studies, educational theory and moral development.

An electronic version of Al-Fath Al-Mubeen is available through the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs’ digital library platform.
