Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation, recently reached out to prospective future students through information sessions hosted at several partner universities in Education City.

Sessions were held at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q), Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ), and Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q). As part of the initiative, class visits were also conducted at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar).

The sessions provided details of HBKU’s graduate programs and research centres to assist students who are preparing to embark on the next chapter of their academic journey. Students within Education City were able to meet with HBKU faculty and the enrolment team to learn more about the programs best suited to their academic and career objectives, admission requirements, and the unique research opportunities available to HBKU students.

HBKU’s multidisciplinary graduate programs are designed to address current and future global challenges by mentoring students to become experts in their chosen fields. On offer are 26 degrees, spanning key disciplines in Islamic studies, humanities and social sciences, science and engineering, law and public policy, and health and life sciences. The admissions deadline for HBKU’s programs is April 1.
