DOHA: Unstable weather is expected in the country from this morning until tomorrow night, according to a special bulletin issued by the Met Office yesterday.
There are chances of scattered rains in some areas tomorrow.
The showers may be accompanied by thunder at times.
The day is likely to be partly cloudy to cloudy today, said the Met Office, urging people to avoid sea voyages and keep tracking weather forecasts from time to time until tomorrow.
The wind direction will be northwesterly to northeasterly and the speed from light to moderate.
However, during rain and thunder, high winds are expected.
The Met Office has forecast high winds and high seas offshore today and said the day inshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of scattered rains.
Day temperatures have been increasing and are likely to vary between 24 degrees C in Al Ruwais and 30 degrees in Abu Samra.
In Doha, the day temperature is expected to peak at 28 degrees, while the night temperature is forecast at 21 degrees.
Elsewhere in the country, nightly temperatures are expected to vary between 20 and 22 degrees. The Peninsula
