Doha: A delegation of nine highly senior officials of the Pakistan Administrative Staff College, Lahore, visited Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) recently.
The dignitaries, who were from the Department of Police, Postal Services, Audit and Accounting had a semi-formal meeting with Principal of PISQ Nargis Raza Otho and Vice-Principals and Academic Heads. The delegation was given a comprehensive orientation about the school’s status, performance, and services for the Pakistani community in Qatar.
In the post-orientation session of discussion, the Principal PISQ, answered many questions of the delegates regarding school’s progression and development. The discussion mostly centered on the idea and strategy planning with which the school was catering for the educational needs of a diverse diaspora, chiefly the Pakistani community.
The Principal, on a question about financial sustenance of the school, said, “It is the meticulously honest and thrifty approach, aided by the Almighty’s grace, that the school is being run without any external monetary aid.” She further added, “I and my team always try to work with the best of our potential because we believe it is our passion for and ownership of the task that makes us stand out successfully in the end.”
The Principal was presented a souvenir of The Pakistan Administrative Staff College by the team leader of the delegation and then they visited the school campus that ended with a couple of group photos.
