Parents of SIS students discuss role in achieving school’s objectives

Doha: The parents of Shantiniketan Indian School students recently held a virtual discussion on the ‘Role of Parents in Achieving School’s Objectives.’ 

The event was attended by a large number of parents and was moderated by Anis Karim. 

Antoinette Rose shared tips on how to “Develop a Positive Attitude among Children”.

Nadiya Noorudeen  shared her experiences on how as a parent, she raises her children’s morale and things that can be done to help children in this regard. 

Other parents shared tips on how parents can make children socially responsible and the importance of health and wellness to children’s development and growth. 

Shini Mohandas also discussed the ways parents can help in the improvement of academic achievements. 

The school Principal, Dr. Subhash B Nair, also praised the parents for their participation in their children’s education. 

He advised them to refrain from imposing unrealistic expectations and accept their children as they are. 

He asked them to allow children to enjoy a joyful learning experience.
