DOHA: Mannai Group celebrated Qatar National Sport Day by holding various sport activities for the employees yesterday at the Palms Garden, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Doha.
Mannai Corporation Group CEO and Director, Alekh Grewal opened the day’s programme with a welcome note, “Mannai is team, and it is one of the value pillars of “The Mannai Way” that we practice in our organisation. With our ongoing sports programme, we are not only supporting the Qatar’s National Vision 2030 by promoting sports and fitness in our lifestyle but also by engaging ourselves to exercise teamwork altogether. We are pleased to gather today and enjoy the activities set for everyone to take part”.
On the same occasion, Mannai honoured 13 employees who have completed 25 years of service with the Group by giving away long service awards.
Mannai Group organised number of off-site tournaments for the employees leading up to the mega celebration on the National Sport Day.
A series of weekly games were conducted for cricket, basketball, bowling, badminton, billiards, carom, and volleyball.
Winners and runner-ups were awarded during the National Sport Day celebration.
