280 get married as part of RAF’s Ifaf 7 programme

The Supreme Advisory Committee for Ifaf project holding a preparatory meeting ahead of the mass wedding.

 

DOHA: Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) starts this evening qualification courses for Ifaf 7 project participants.
Around 280 youth, including girls, will join the course which continues for five days.
The project aims is to help future couples by providing experiences in establishing a stable family life and also making them aware of social, health and economic means to lead a success family.
The course will be held from 4pm to 8pm and will covers social, economic,  psychological aspects and how couples should treat each other and avoid problems.
The Supreme Advisory Committee for Ifaf project last month held a preparatory meeting to implement the final phase of the project.
The panel said the project aims to help youth get married and qualify them by offering educational sessions to establish a stable family life. 
The six previous editions of the project saw 860 couples getting married and the current one will achieve the target of over 1,000.The Peninsula
