Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Thursday, declining by 124.45 points, or 1.12 percent, to reach 10,957.95 points.
During the session, a total of 124,125,466 shares were traded, with a value of QR 378,833,362.339, through 21,717 transactions across all sectors.
Shares of 11 companies rose during the session, while 35 companies saw their stocks decline. Six companies maintained their previous closing price.
At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 656,326,973,632.040, compared to QR 662,804,712,443.822 in the previous session.
