Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education is participating in the 47th International Physics Olympiad which began in Zurich, Switzerland, yesterday.
The competitions continue until Sunday.
The event, in which Qatar is taking part for the first time along with 87 countries, include theoretical and experimental contests. Qatar is represented by a team of five students — three from Independent schools and two from private schools.
